in concord. and tonight, group is trying to help her recover from the tragic loss. lisa amin gulezian is live in concord with the story. lisa? reporter: very emotional time for volunteers, students, teachers, and most of all the family. just a little while ago the big unveil happened inside that apartment. oh! oh, my god. reporter: 60 people volunteered to give the family a home makeover. she and their daughter hannah moved here in june. two days after the husband and her youngest daughter died. solomon and the daughter were out for a bike ride on april 7th last year. when they were run over be a 17-year-old driver. hannah survived the crash. the 12-year-old and her mother moved out of the family home and are trying to start fresh here. that's when a clubbed named healing spaces, made up of students from nearby high schools, decided to give in the much-deserving mother and daughter a makeover. >> next month is the anniversary, and so we hoped to take some of the salt out of the wound they have experienced, and that's a total reward. reporter: the focus of the makeover was on hannah and giving

. >> and lisa is here for mike. you have sunshine? >> we had some wind and certainly in the south bay we got a little bit more last night than the rest of the bay and outside right now it is spotty but live doppler 7 hd showing precipitation way south of the bay area so we are looking at light rain, association overall, we are clearing out and elsewhere it is mild, with still the cloud cover left over, here is a look at south bay, where it is moving along pretty well and the numbers mostly in the mid-40's around the bay. livermore is 45 but dropping in the mid-30's by the delta with clearing and well see the clearing first in the north bay, and napa is 36 with more mid-40's out toward our inland east bay, so compared to yesterday, with the cloud cover, we are a little bit warmer and we are talking about that trend over the weekend. we do have one weak system that will keep the numbers cool at our coast throughout the next day or so, today plan on the jacket, it is still not quite spring and, in fact, a chill to the air throughout most of the morning hours and early afternoon. partly cloudy a

for the weekend, right, can we order that up? >> i don't think it is up to us. lisa? >> good morning, to you. we are looking at conditions that are clearing around the bay with a little bit of shower activity along the coastline, highway one, and redwood for last but it will shape up. we will see a warming trend over the weekend with temperatures near 70 by the end of the weekend. if you look at the bay bridge we are in the upper 40's and 49 in oakland and mid-40's for half moon bay and santa cruz. we are warmer this morning. we still have a lot of cloud cover left over from yesterday's rain, half an inch picked up around san jose. this morning, the numbers are dropping into the north bay with upper 30's in santa rosa and 37 in napa and 46 in livermore and union city, as well, in the mid 40's. we have temperatures this morning compared to yesterday at four to seven degrees warmer and it sets the stage for a little bit of a warm-up today. we will have that because of the sunshine. the real warm up is over the weekend. clouds this morning and sunny and cool this afternoon and the numbers will warm
